Promotional tests for junior civil service officials will start on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, according to the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
This information was provided in a circular made available in Abuja on Tuesday and signed by the permanent secretary of the Career Management Office.
The exam was supposed to take place between Tuesday, August 2, and Friday, August 5, 2022, across the federation, according to an earlier report.
The public service examination board accepted the need for the payment of a non-refundable examination fee of $3,000 per candidate in an earlier circular.
But a new circular noted the postponement of the exam. The circular with reference number HCSF/CMO/MP/782/T3 partly reads, “Postponement of the conduct of 2022 combined confirmation and promotion of Grade Level 2 to 6 junior officers.
“This is to inform you that the conduct of the 2022 Combined Confirmation/Promotion Examination, which was originally scheduled to hold from Tuesday 2nd August to Friday 5th August 2022, has been postponed.
“The examination has now been rescheduled as follows: a. Deadline for registration/closure of Portal: 19 August 2022 b. Date of examination: Tuesday 13°” to Friday 16′ September 2022
“Please note that the contents of the earlier Call Circular dated 15 April, 2022 are still valid except for the change of date in paragraph two (2) above.
“All inconveniences caused by this development are regretted, please.”
