“Peter Obi can never become President in Nigeria, He can only do that in igboland” – Shettima
Peter Obi cannot be elected president of Nigeria, according to Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate of the APC.
The candidate for the Labour party, Obi, can only be president of Igboland and not Nigeria.
“Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, lacks the political infrastructure necessary to prevail in the next 2023 election. I don’t think he has the political structure or expertise to be president of this country. Shettima stated.
“Nigeria needs a technocrat and an experienced leader who would carry on from where President Muhammadu Buhari left off, not someone who will return us to the PDP period. That is not what Nigerians desire.
“In this situation, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our candidate, is the ideal candidate for the job. He is an administrator, a unifier, a technocrat, etc.
“Being president is not for the unprepared, nor is it an open invitation. Peter Obi can only be president of Igboland; he cannot be president of Nigeria. He cannot manage Nigeria because it is too large. He lacks the leadership philosophy and life experiences of President Muhammadu and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our upcoming president.
