Over 314 suspected Boko Haram and ISWAP members surrender in Borno
The Nigerian Army on Wednesday disclosed that Over 314 suspected members terrorist organizations Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), have surrendered.
The supposed suspects were said to have surrendered to Nigerian troops in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State, as a result of the ongoing offensive onslaught against terrorism in the North East.
According to a brief statement by the Army, a total of 12 farmers were also rescued by the Nigerian troops.
“Profiling of the surrendered terrorists is currently ongoing,” the statement added.
