How to use Hollojo to get paid for skills you already have

There are a few reasons why you shouldn’t overlook Hollojo as a way to make money using skills you already have if you’ve been looking for a way to make some extra money.

Hollojo is a platform that links busy customers with “pros” (users offering a specific service) who possess the necessary skills to complete a given task. There are many reasons why a person might hire someone to do a job for them. Perhaps they simply lack the time to devote hours to doing it themselves, or perhaps they lack the necessary expertise. In this situation, Hollojo Pro can help.

If you have some extra time and expertise you’re willing to offer, why not get paid for it? People will pay for a variety of services, including cleaning,  accounting, videography, event planning, and even simply waiting in line.

How to get started

You must first go to the Hollojo website and select “Become a Hollojo.” You then complete the form by entering your first and last name, phone number, zip code, etc.

Once you submit those details, someone will contact you by phone or email to confirm your identity. You must verify that you are at least 18 years old and have a checking account in order to be paid. Additionally, Hollojo pro must be able to pass a background investigation, and if any certifications or licenses are necessary for the services you’re providing, you must be able to provide them.

Earnings

While you are free to set your own prices for each service you provide, Hollojo will offer price suggestions based on local market supply and demand. If you’re unsure of what to charge, use these suggestions as a starting point.

You might think about charging a little bit more than what the platform recommends if you have many years of experience with a particular task. However, if you’re just using the platform to improve a skill, you might want to just stick with the recommended rate for that specific task or skill.

Fees

Its a commission based work

Here’s how it works:

0-200k in earnings from a client: 20% service fee applied to earnings

200k – 500k in earnings from a client: 10% service fee

500k or more in earnings from a client: 5% service fee

For example, on a 50,000 naira project with a client Hollojo connect you with, Hollojo service fee would be 20% of the total amount and payment will be paid after a task is complete.
