Breaking: Terrorists Attack Nigeria President, Buhari Convoy In Katsina
As President Muhammadu Buhari was traveling to Daura, Katsina State for Sallah celebrations on Tuesday, several terrorists opened fire on his advance convoy.
The attack was verified in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, captioned “Gallant Presidential guards repel attack on advance team ahead of President’s arrival.”
However, it also stated that the military, police, and Department of State Services troops in the convoy managed to drive away the terrorists.
The military, police, and DSS personnel who were with the convoy were able to repel the terrorists who began firing on it from ambush positions.
According to sahara reporters Two persons in the convoy are receiving treatment for the minor injuries they suffered. All the other personnel, staff and vehicles made it safely to Daura.”
