12 Policemen injured, 29 protesters arrested During the Arise Ghana protest
According to Newsghana, during the Arise Ghana protest the police arrested 29 Arise Ghana protester’s for involving in violent behaviors and 12 policemen was also injured during the process.
The attackers has been put behind bars and they will face the law in line with the provisions of Section 3 of the Public Order Act, (Act 491).
Many protester’s marched to the capital because of the frustration in the country and they where also holding up placards reading “Mr President, where did we go wrong? and “The high cost of living will kill us”.
